Phase 1 Airdrop

Airdrop Total: Distribute 10% of the Obsidian Token to the community.

Airdrop Rules: From 2024 Aug. 15 - Sep. 15, you can participate in the Obsidian mining event on the website. Use the mining program provided on the website to run your CPU intensively to earn event points.

After the event ends, the official team will open a contract for exchanging points for community tokens (Obsidian). The Obsidian tokens will be prioritized for exchange on the Solana chain, while integration with other ecosystems may take some time.

Points Airdrop Principles and Rules:

Our primary core principle is to maintain a fair distribution process: We cannot completely eliminate the phenomenon of the same person applying for airdrops multiple times, so we use mining to determine the user’s level of engagement.

For example, if we use email applications, a hacker with 1,000 bot email accounts could get 1,000 times the token airdrop at zero cost compared to an ordinary participant.

However, by using mining, a hacker who wants to get 1,000 times the airdrop of an ordinary participant would need to pay 1,000 times the CPU computation cost.

Note: We do not oppose a user mining with multiple devices, as this requires the cost of CPU time. More input, more reward is reasonable.

Points Exchange Rules

To avoid the use of GPUs for mining and to optimize the competition in mining algorithms:

After tallying all the points of Phase 1 participants, the official team will calculate the average value and proportionally map all points between the highest value and the average value to between twice the average value and the average value.

To avoid extreme cases of users employing an excessive number of devices to lower the average, we will limit request frequencies from the same IP on the server side and reduce the weight of accounts from the same IP in the statistics.

Note: For casual participants, using one or two accounts and mining casually is the best strategy.

Promotion Rules

After mining starts, generate a link from our homepage and send it to your friends. You will receive a referral bonus when exchanging tokens.

For example, if your friend opens the webpage through your referral and mines some points during the event, you will receive an additional 5% reward when your friend exchanges tokens with the smart contract at the end of the event. Note that the reward is not deducted from the portion your friend deserves.

1. Q: What blockchain account do I need to prepare to participate in mining?

   A: To participate in the mining event, you only need to log in to our official webpage with a browser to start mining. The account is a key pair generated and stored in the browser. Note the following:

   • As long as you do not clear your browser cache, this account will always exist.
   • Opening or closing the webpage will not cause the account to be lost unless you clear the cache.
   • If the account is unfortunately lost, there is no way to recover it, as the official server does not save your keys.

2. Q: Which blockchain ecosystem will the exchanged tokens be on?

   A: We will first establish the token and token swap pool on the Solana network, as this is the platform our team is most familiar with. Other platforms, such as Eth, Ton, etc., are planned for integration but will require some time. Here, we also address the issue of token cross-chain transfers.

   1. First, the total number of tokens is fixed and will not increase with the addition of new platforms.
   2. We will establish an official gateway. When you want to transfer tokens from Solana to Ton, you will send Sol to the official gateway. The official contract will mark the token transfer to Ton. The server will then transfer the token to your receiving address on Ton.
   3. Official airdrops, exchanges, and auction packs will be prioritized on the Solana network.
